Children’s Ministry

As a small growing church, we currently offer a combined-age children’s ministry program, up to fifth grade on Sunday mornings.

We take the kids on a three – year journey through the Bible using the Gospel Project – a Christ centered Bible study curriculum – and make learning about Jesus a joyful and memorable experience.

Through Bible study, music, games, crafts, prayer, and fellowship, the children grow in relationship with one another and with the Lord.

Our volunteers love children, and have been carefully screened and trained. All staff must complete an application, agree with our Statement of Faith, undergo a background check, and have references checked. We follow a two-person supervision rule at all times, ensuring that your child is not alone with anyone at any time. We look forward to having your children join us soon!

Women’s Bible Study

Friday 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 589 Belle Hall Parkway, Mt. Pleasant, 29464. No childcare.

In our Women’s Ministry, we put an emphasis on studying the whole Bible in a systematic way. We do this because we believe that it is through hearing and applying God’s word that we grow. We believe that the entire Bible is important and relevant in the day and age we live in.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is in fact a person, and that He is the One who truly guides us into all truth. While we appreciate and sometimes use outside Bible study guides, and we are not opposed to reading inspirational books, we believe that the Lord desires to speak to us personally through our own study.

Our code of conduct and mission statement are defined by the acronym B.U.G.S.

B – BUILD – A wise woman builds up others. She doesn’t tear anyone down. When we get together, we want to make it our goal to be helpful and kind. We want to reflect God’s love to those around us.

U – UNITY – We avoid at all costs anything that has the appearance of a clique or favoritism. We all have our closest connections outside of the church. Inside the church we make our best effort to be inclusive.

G – GROW – Being in a church, like being anywhere else can bring along with it some challenges. Where there are people, there will be challenges. There is room for growth in all our lives. We all need grace. View these challenges as an opportunity to grow and to demonstrate the love of Christ.

S – SERVE – You have a LOT to offer. You are gifted with many talents and abilities. Little acts of kindness can make a big difference. Leave the church a little better than you found it.

“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus…” Hebrews 12:2a
