We believe everyone has a role to play in the body of Christ so we’ve listed some of our current volunteer needs below. At the same time, we realize people go through seasons where they’re not able to help. You could have a lot going on with your family, health, work obligations, etc… Or you may already serve outside of church so thank you for supporting our community.
For those who do have the time and are willing to serve, we would really appreciate you getting involved in supporting our church. Below are several ways that you can help.
Sunday mornings children’s ministry: As a volunteer in this area, you would never be on your own; you would be supporting an experienced teacher. If you are willing to serve even once a quarter, that would be a huge help. All children’s ministry volunteers go through a background check and have attended for at least several months. Please ask for Nancy or Judy on a Sunday morning, or call 843-323-1239.
We can also use assistance with children’s check-in and clean-up if you are willing to help for a short period of time before and/or after the service.
Ushers: Ushers arrive by 10:00am on Sunday to set up parking signs, assist with parking, and greet people. After the service, they stay until 12:00pm (give or take) to return signs and assist with any tasks that come up. Please ask for Bob on a Sunday morning, or call 843-323-1239.
Cleaning: We invite your help with some basic cleaning before and after our Sunday service. (We’ll have a formal list of needs in the future.) Please ask for Nancy or Judy on a Sunday morning, or call 843-323-1239, if you can assist in this area.
Sunday mornings music ministry: Do you have a talent for singing or playing a musical instrument? Or are you someone who loves gadgets and would enjoy helping with the sound on Sunday mornings? If this is an area where you might serve, please contact Michael Smith at 843-580-6251.
